My Involvement

Dedicated Parent Volunteer:

  • Over a decade of hands-on involvement in classrooms and school events, supporting both teachers and students across multiple APS campuses.

Longtime PTA Executive Board Member

  • Served in key leadership roles within Parent Teacher Associations, helping to organize initiatives that strengthened school-community partnerships and improved student outcomes.

Parent Liaison for APS Middle School

  • Acted as a vital bridge between families and school administration—advocating for parent voices, promoting transparency, and increasing family engagement in school decision-making.

EdTech Start-Up Founder

  • I bring innovative solutions like APPY—a swipe-based aptitude app she created to help students identify career pathways based on their strengths and interests. APPY is built to serve all students, including those who don’t see college in their future—ensuring no student is left out of the conversation around success, purpose, and opportunity.

Tribe called Stith

A wife and mother

I am proud to be the wife of Walter Stith, a proud Atlanta native and alumnus of Booker T. Washington High School. Walter’s journey—from our city’s public schools to playing professional football with the Buffalo Bills, and now serving as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley—has been a constant source of inspiration in my life.

Together, we’re raising three incredible children—Kaili, Kingston, and Chase—all current Atlanta Public Schools students. They are not only my inspiration but also my motivation. Through them, I see firsthand the challenges and gaps within our system. They are active participants in my work, helping me better understand the inequities faced by students every day—and the urgent need to create a system that supports all children, not just the ones with parents who can advocate for them.

As a mother, I carry a deep responsibility—not just to my own children—but to every student in APS. Because I know not every child has a mother like me to fight for them. That’s why I’m running.

Atlanta, my Home

A Life Long Atlanta Resident

  • As a lifelong Atlantan and mother, I’m committed to building an educational system that supports every child, regardless of zip code or circumstance. Because when we uplift all our children, we uplift our city.

A Community Builder

  • As one of the founders of PickleBallin’ Lifestyle Club, an Atlanta-based community that encourages the growth of pickleball among Black and Brown communities. We’re creating access to the sport while centering joy, wellness, and cultural representation—because building stronger communities includes redefining recreation and wellness spaces, too.

My Priorities

Community-Centered Leadership

I am committed to listening deeply and inclusively and will build authentic relationships with families, educators, guardians, and community stakeholders across Atlanta—ensuring that every neighborhood and every school has a seat at the table.

Transparent, Responsive Governance

I will work to demystify decisions and bring parents and community members into the process, reestablishing trust between the district and those it serves.

Bold, Tangible Change for Families

I will advocate for student-centered policies, meaningful investments in schools, and strategies that create real outcomes, not just rhetoric. My priority is a school system that reflects the brilliance and needs of every child in Atlanta.
